    I ordered my checkmate mags back in 2011 from TopGunSupply.Joe's magmania sells what are said to be unmarked checkmate mags at a lower price.I got 10 from Joe's and 4 from TopGunSupply.

    Ditto, Chip McCormicks and the Wilson Combats are the best.
    My Colt ones anre so-so, and my junk box has about 4 or five that are splitting or just fed like crap. I think the Colt quality went in the sh*tter sometime in the 80-90s.

    The McCormicks go on sale fairly often at Midway, just watch for a sale.

    Yes I just ended up going with the Chip McCormic... I have a few of the older shooting star mags... Think their made by McCormic?
    So far, drop free no problems..
