the tweaking is going better than expected, after modding the follower tweaking the front of the feed lips and adding an ak spring as a helper i am able to load and hand strip 18 rounds. now i face the choice of making it like that and welding lugs on it or my original idea of cutting off the feed lips and rewelding them at a different angle to change the geometry of the mag so it's closer to a psl's geometry......... i think i'll go for broke. if it works i'll make a thread

I made one from a DT drum. I modified the magazine to a single stack but the problem I ran into was the last rd (That the drum can feed) jams up. Im still working on it though.

Thanks for posting the link. Why no video of of a firing test?? I wanna see it in action Pryotex!!! LOL. I do think that it's cool.

"J", you definitely need to post pics of your Bren mag mods.

ive done Pryo's(tony) drum mag mod... & like he said.. im just not happy with how it feeds.

now on the Bren in 54R? thats flawless with off the shelfZB mags and its never had a problem at all...

BUT that mag doesnt work in a PSL.. its HUGE at teh top compared to a psl mag..

    heres the 54R in Bren:

say what you mean & mean what you say

Making an educated guess that you're going to have to give it some dummy rounds for the last few. e.g. a 60-rounder not a 63-rounder. That's how the C-Mag does it and was my basis for my home-brew quad-stack magazine experiments a few years back.

Edit to add - to be honest I'd like to know when more PSL mags are coming in. My friend bought his PSL w/ 2 mags and keeps bugging me to share my "spares" with him. Need to find him a source so he'll stop bugging me LOL
