Man if a p22 ever came out in mag same size as much as possible I'd be all over it.mine is my favorite summertime gun now for just walking around.nice pistols and uber reliable. Hi tech red neck I am I even carry it in an uncle mikes paddle holster.
I like the idea of a .22lr version.
I think a 30rd 22lr would fly off the shelves, even if ruger could come out with a wider "replacement" frame for the 22/45 or mark series
That's a whole lot more punch then a 22 long rifle is going to give.

I agree. But getting a lot of ammo in a mag the length of a grip requires a staggered column magazine. Most of the double column .22 mags out there are for rifles like the 10/22 and have to be curved, not straight, for reliability. RamLine used to make a mostly plastic pistol kinda sorta based on the Ruger MKII that used their own staggered column 15rd magazine. The few people who bought one usually found they weren't reliable. Even the PMR30 magazine jams really well if you are not careful when loading it. The rims have to be stacked so each round's rim is in front of the rim below it, if you get one behind the one below it, the round won't feed.
^^^^ this is true... IF you load it wrong it will jam...
but how many of "us" on a site like this cant figure out how to load a mag?
ive been thinking of converting my Razor 22mag builds from using the roto mags to using the PMR mags... would be awfully nice!
say what you mean & mean what you say
YES, i work for TEC Tactical.. 07/02 SOT
Wouldn't even have to be a 30 rounder, but it would be nice, something like a 20 round mag would be nice too since everyone makes 22lr pistols 10 rounds.I think a 30rd 22lr would fly off the shelves,
Doesn't have to be Ruger, any company that would make a frame would sell a bunch of them since there's so many of these pistols out there.even if ruger could come out with a wider "replacement" frame for the 22/45 or mark series
