I guess polymer pistols that apply I own are the Walther P-22,Kel Tec PF9,and now the Glock. Oh,yeah the PMR. They don't kill my back from carrying around the property. So I'm good with them now at my age.
Looking forward to making the 17 better this winter.
What is recoil compared to like a ,45acp. I have been wanting the flock 10 mm for awhile.
Shooting full power loads from the Gen 3 G20 is not bad. I'm able to keep my shots in the middle of the chest at 20 yards, rapid fire. I can't do it as fast with a stock 1911. The polymer soaks up a lot of recoil, and the brick of a grip allows a lot of control. If the Gen 3 grip is just too big for you, the gen 4 has interchangeable grip inserts for the back to make it smaller, and they make a G20SF(small frame).

Got a friend finishing up his kydex moulder. Should be interesting with my/our designs.
I got a chance to shoot my gen3 G21 45acp this weekend and I must say I am a convert also now. I loved the way it shot.

I am a walther collector and a big sig alum frame fan, I owned a gen 1 austrian g-17 shot it a few times, but liked the sig line even polymer frame sigs still do
recently I picked up a 40 cal police trade in g-22 w/ night sights wow I still carry the sig but love shooting the G-22 I am looking for a used gen 2-3 G-17 in 9mm to carry
