    Default Glock converts fess up

I never had anything against Glock, just never thought I'd own one. I got to wanting another 10mm Delta Elite to replace one I had sold many years ago. Way too much money wanted. So I found a lightly used G20 gen 3, felt like holding a brick. Then I shot it. Sold! I'm no pistolero by any means, but Lord help whats on the dangerous end of this plastic toy. Way more controllable than the Delta. I'm John, and I'm a Glock convert.

I wanted to use my Ruger KP345 stainless for the shooting part of my CC test back in 2004. My Instructor talked me into using his Glock 17. We did a perfect score on the 21ft shooting test.

Prices are surprisingly reasonable aren't they? A bud of mine lent me one of his 19's about 14 years ago.It was ok but I just wasn't a fan. Handed him the empty box back. When he noticed it was light I apologized, told him I left it on the dash and the darn sun melted it to the dashboard. Then I handed him back his pistol.
I've just got that extra case of 9mm to shoot. The Gen 4's come with 3 magazines now.
Besides all that,it's winter and the 1911's are done. Need something to make better

Bet ya liked it too Railbuggy! It's ok,we're in a glock moment. I went looking for a 17L. If I didn't want something to burn up ammo I would have gotten one in 10mm. Talk about a deer gun.wow.

I have a couple Glock's a 43 I bought for my wife and used the Plus 2 mag extenders to make it a usable gun. I have a 30s that cam with a LW Threaded Barrel, that I stumbled into when the former owner was having a firesale.I can hit with the 30 all day long and I often run it in my yard with the can on it. That said , I wont carry either of them, I just can't make myself trust the trigger, I almost always carry my Kahr. Guess cause I was raised with wheel guns.

Understood. Me? 1911's. I've always thought their trigger was heavy. I'll install the lighter trigger this winter and a set of sights that aren't plastic.
Errr,i meant high strength polymer. Got to learn a new language I reckon.

We're all coming out today! I've always appreciated the mechanical aspect of them and the fact Aston wasn't really a gun guy. I've wondered what he and my hero John Moses would have come up with?

O like Glocks enough to own a few ...

    A couple G19 and a G17 (Night Stand Gun)

    I keep a G26 as a "truck gun" ... in a Kingston holster

Another G26 with an internal "guide rod" Lasermax ...

got a glock 22, 40 and its not bad with my small hand. don't like a lot of things like safety and the ugly squareness of it. heck even the 1911s have nice curves.
