My .40 slide hangs up 1/8" or so from going back into battery. My 9mm slide won't even get close.
    More tinkering to do.

Work has been stupid busy, and we have a new boss, young fellow, who wants to change every aspect of our system that has worked perfectly since I have been here going on 10 years now. It will settle down soon enough. The accuracy is real good on both pistols.

after building the P-series pistols. I switched to Glock the LEO trade ins in both 9mm (G-17) & 40 cal (G-22) have been so cheap, I have been buying instead of building as I use my Glock's for carry concealed

#1 cardinal rule never carry a homebuild pistol or modified pistol for concealed carry and that goes for reloaded ammo, quickest way to get convicted justifiable shooting or not
Yes, definitely, if you want a great pistol at a great price, the police trade ins are the way to go. I agree about the home builds, modified, and reloads, it's stupid but that's the way the world is...

Make sure the recoil spring is not rubbing or binding. Mine was just a bit, after relieving a little plastic it was good. Also the Alpha Wolf slide/Silencerco bbl fit was a little hinky at first but it worked itself in quickly. And I ended up using some polishing compond on the rails to get it to quit hanging up. Many things to consider.

Also the part of the connector that bears against the slide was quite rough, after polishing it things got way better.

I may follow up on this. I always wanted a pair of 1911 long slides like in the movie Hit Man. I just saw Glock17L has a 6"barrel.

Thinking about a 10mm dew? Know you have one I think but a brace of 10's puts you into the megawatt blaster range. I kid sir.

    I am a 10mm fan for sure. I want a long slide and a compact 10. G40 and G29.
