Default Two Polymer 80 PF940Cv1 builds done

I now have 2 done, one with Glock 23 slide and parts, one with stainless Alpha Wolf slide and small parts, Silencerco 9mm bbl. Both function fine, only many rounds down the tube will tell if they will hold up, but I bet they will.

I am not a Glock fan, but those look really great! Been thinking about building one myself.

so you ended up going ahead and building both of them.

now a simple question.. did it wind up costing more to DIY than it would to buy it?

that doesnt bother me if i want to be able to say "i did it myself"... just wondering how these were panning out in todays market.

You won't save any money with all new parts like on the one with the stainless slide. I have as much in it as a new Glock. The 23 I lucked out with when I found the complete glock 23 slide for $200. I would shop around for parts first.

Put about 100 rounds through the 9mm Sat. Ran just fine, no signs of anything wearing, no breakages. So far so good.

    Nice
    job Dew

after building the P-series pistols. I switched to Glock the LEO trade ins in both 9mm (G-17) & 40 cal (G-22) have been so cheap, I have been buying instead of building as I use my Glock's for carry concealed

#1 cardinal rule never carry a homebuild pistol or modified pistol for concealed carry and that goes for reloaded ammo, quickest way to get convicted justifiable shooting or not
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.
