Still trying too figure out where "Hooooyah ooorah" came from?
Hell back when I was in, no not the war between the States
We used too say.
"The Mother F#$%kers are sending us where Sarge? F#$K them. That place is bad. Why dont they send the Marines in. Its their turn."
"Flags of our Fathers."
Mr. Bradley left. Uncle Marv right.
- Mr. Bradley. Flag raiser Iwo Jima. U.S. Navy Corpsman.
- Uncle Marv. Chosin Reservoir survivor. United States Marine.
Best friends until they both passed. Mountain Wisconson.
God Bless the Marines. :salute:
Picture of some old family members. Not sure what year it was taken. Early 1900's. Mens names, Robe and Waddy Capehart. Makes me appreciate a chainsaw even when it isn't running right.
I loaded hi-tech UAV stuff...onto Commercial Russian Aircraft....to go to South Korea. Just sounds weird saying that...
still have another load later on, going on an Antonov 124. Lot more HMMWVs and stuff. Its cheaper to pay Russia to haul our stuff than it is to use USAF assets.
I worked there... started off as a system administrator, got demoted four times while doing the same work, as they kept inserting more layers of management, a "team leader", and other useless dweebs into the org chart. I left after my title changed to "PC support" and they started routing Windows helpdesk calls to me.
