I have one of those goose getters... Shes 14-15yo blind, diabetic and can still smell and hear a bird... Of course she runs into trees trying to find them...
VZ, we lost our last one a 13 y.o.a. yellow this past january. I didn't take him hunting this past year. It was the same thing, the spirit was willing, but the body wasn't. Your buddy looks like he's either on drugs or bi-polar and off his meds. I don't miss that, stay safe. MM
Thanks VZ58 and Coils! My son ended up winning one trophy so far with another contest on friday. It started off as a WWII M3A1 Scout Car (like a shorter half trac with a singe axle in the back) but we were unable to fit the scout cars long front clip and ditch roller on it due to BSA axle location rules, so we went with a jeepish front end. He mostly shaped the body with a scroll saw and my HF mill/drill. We got a scout car model and put that together (minus the accessories) and used it to help set up the cuts on the mill.
