Well its official. The house just passed s.365 Legislative Vehicle For The Debt Limit. But has anyone even read the 'fine print' ? Checks And Balances are Dead. The Super Congress Is Born.

Cloaked in the fear surrounding the debt ceiling and a possible default is the most dangerous legislation that America has ever faced. The Super Congress will make the PATRIOT Act look like a just and fair law. When six Republicans, six Democrats and the President have complete control over the legislature, we need to be concerned.

Swamprat-This should infuriate EVERYBODY to the point we finally stand up and force this shit to stop!

Home insurance, Flood insurance, vehicle insurance, vehicle renewal tags, home tax, electric bill going through the friggen roof, tax they slip in on phone and t.v. bills every month etc. etc....
Half our small community is begging for work. Other half is retired and trying too support them.
I am not going out too restaurants, not going on cruises, not buying luxury items, not living beyond my means, just trying too survive.
You young folks hang in their.
Inflation is eating this country alive.

The Executive Branch has usurped the Legislative Branch.
A dictatorial rule by the council of 13.
Thats the crux of it, congress has given up it's authority to legislate to an inner circle so it can say - I didn't raise tax's during the beginning of the depression. They will redistribute wealth as they see fit for ( The GOOD OF THE COUNTRY) through the EPA they will pick and chose which business will survive. The new dictator has already said he's going to destroy the energy sector thats not GREEN. Isn't it interesting that China & the middle Eastern Countries will get there Trillions first before the Retirees and Military if there is a run on the dollar or market sell off. During the summer recess I strongly suggest you talk to your congressional representatives. This same thing happened in 1933 when Hindenburg gave the Nazi party dictatorial powers. Don't take my word for it look up on Wikipedia.org :kick:

Inflation.

Inflation is eating this country alive.
I am not rich, nor am I poor.
Pay my bills before I do anything. I owe, I pay.
But these days, it seems you get $2 ahead and then fall $3 behind.
Not buying sirloin, hamburger and noodles.
My money tree is picked clean.
Anyone else out there going broke besides me?

In my opinion the birth of the "super committy" is just anouther argument for abortion!!!! Anouther example of this countrys politicians rapeing our rights, just when you've think you've heard it all,it just gets better!!! What scares me is that there disissions have no room for amendments or changes. So if I get this right, if they screw up and make a law that ends up not being workible, or unconstutional, there's no way to make changes, WTF!!!!! "New World Order" just keeps getting closer all the time, and with the likes of yomamma, Pelosi, + Reed, it may be closer than we think, we don't have a clue what's going on behind closed doors!!! !

The Committee of 13

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
August 4, 2011

The so-called debt ceiling crisis has nothing to do with the government running out of money. It is about the creation of a super committee, a council of thirteen, designed to circumvent Congress and ignore the will of the American people.

The ruling elite have a plan to take America down. The takedown has a timeline, a schedule, and it has been interrupted and set back by Congress. Despite the fact Congress usually does whatever the globalists tell them to do, certain members hold up the agenda by holding hearings and introducing resolutions on everything from the Federal Reserve to the globalist wars in the Middle East, South Asia and now Africa.

The handpicked “super Congress” – six members from the Senate, six from the House, and the president forming a committee or gang of 13 – will now push through the elite’s agenda behind closed doors in direct violation of the Constitution.

Like the Supreme Soviet, the Council of 13 will take on the trappings of democracy – because the committee was proposed by elected officials, namely Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and his counterpart Majority Leader Harry Reid with the consent House Speaker John Boehner – but will act as dictatorship by committee. If allowed to stand, the United States will have its own Central Committee, just like the former Soviet Union.

The Constitution allows each house of Congress to set its own rules. Early on, debate and filibuster were added to the rules. The Committee of 13, however, will strip Congress of its power to filibuster. It will prevent the Speaker from stopping a vote in the House. It will fast-track the entire globalist agenda – from carbon taxes to the total destruction of the Second Amendment. It will end amendments to laws and only allow an up or down vote on legislation. It will turn Congress into a rubber stamp even more than it is already.

In their wisdom, the framers envisioned the House as a place of heated debate and the Senate as more staid place where rhetoric would cool down. It has its origins in the concept integral to our political system that the rights of the minority must be protected from the force of the majority. The idea and practice of a super Congress, a Committee of 13, puts an end to this tradition. It is a totalitarian steamroller.

By voting for the so-called debt ceiling bill, both houses of Congress are voting to legitimize the Soviet-style super committee of 13 globalist grocery clerks. It is another step by the elite to throw the Constitution under the bus.

As a first step, the Gang of 13 will impose taxation as a solution to the astronomical debt placed on the American people by the international bankers who own the private Federal Reserve. A super committee will be required to keep the debt and debt slavery scam going now that an increasing number of Americans understand that the Fed is nothing but a money printing machine designed to devalue the worth of our currency under the guise of stimulating the economy and the perpetually unfulfilled promise to create jobs and prosperity.

It is contempt for the Constitution and the intellectual and spiritual laziness of our so-called representatives that has allowed this atrocious state of affairs to exist under the excuse of confronting a debt the American people do not owe.

Direct political action will be required to put and end to this monstrosity. Short of that, we can expect another dagger to be stuck in the heart of our liberty as the global elite continue step by step to build their authoritarian control structure designed to turn the earth into a sprawling slave labor gulag and plantation.

Yep, we're F-ed

WASHINGTON — A Democratic official says that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid will name Sen. Patty Murray to co-chair a powerful "super committee" charged with finding more than $1 trillion in deficit cuts this fall.

The official says the Washington Democrat will be joined by Massachusetts Democrat John Kerry and Montana Democrat Max Baucus on the panel. Reid is scheduled to make the announcement Wednesday.

Murray is a longtime protector of Democratic priorities, as are Kerry and Baucus. In naming the trio, Reid opted against picking Democrats like Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad who have been more forceful in advocating curbs on Medicare spending and Social Security benefits.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because Reid's choices aren't yet official.

Bipartisan committee process tasked with identifying an additional $1.5 trillion in deficit reduction, including from entitlement and tax reform. Committee is required to report legislation by November 23, 2011, which receives fast-track protections. Congress is required to vote on Committee recommendations by December 23, 2011.
OK, the committee of 13 makes a recommendation to Congress. Congress MUST vote on the recommendation. If it passes Congress, it goes to the President.

If the passed law ("Legislative Vehicle For The Debt Limit") committee reccomendation is NOT passed by Congress and signed by the President, 1.2 Trillion must be arbitrarily cut according to "Legislative Vehicle For The Debt Limit"

How is this circumventing the Constitution? Congress (both houses) passed the original bill, the President signed it, and Congress must pass a bill containing the 13 member committee recomendation and the President sign it else the passed and signed bill forces a 1.2 if NONE of the committees recomendations become law.

I'm not saying it's a good thing, but how in the hell is the process itself unconstitutional? As I see it, the constitutional process is being used, unbelievably, to support an unconstitutional increase in spending. It's not the mechanism that's at fault, it's the abuse of the mechanism.

Hell. They could cut $1 trillion just in D.C..
Start at the top and work down.
Nothing like hungry people watching Nancy fly over in her U.S. Air Force jet too California, eating special chocolates and lobster too get the tax blood boiling.
Onitwito buzzing N.Y. in Air Force one, with a fighter jet escort.
Were starving here at the bottom now.
Buy ammo.

So a committee makes a recommendation. How is that a bill not originating in the House?

The original bill originated in the House, was passed, and calls for either Congress to pass a bill containing at least one/some of the committee recommendations or a mandatory cut (as included in the Bill originating in the House, passed by both houses and signed by the President) will be made.

I think it's all smoke and mirrors (the show of "debt reduction"), but how is it an unconstitutional process?

Seems to me anything this committee comes up with would still have to go through the House and Senate for passage. If not, than yes this is not the way it's supposed to work.

Regardless, it will likely turn into a stale mate anyway unless the Repukes decide to CAVE AGAIN.

Of course, we used to have 501 people to diffuse responsibility for poor judgement and bad decisions.

Now there are only 13.

It sure makes it easier to identify them and call them to task.
And that ain't just "gallows" humor! It's time to take names-some of these laws and mandates, I'd like to know the name of the FIRST person who brought it up. AAAHHH-so you're responsable for this travesty-good bye
