    Default Endangered Species??

We are being overrun here in south Louisiana. Damn bears are taking over. A dog got mauled the other day. Figure its only a matter of time before a person gets it. They are bold to come up to your front door and eat out of your garbage can. Need to open a season on these jokers. I heard they taste good too.

They don't bother here , but where I used to live we had them around all the time, Weasels, and Lynx too. Not so much in the woods now like the last place,, 27 years here.

Myself I don't care for Bear that much,,, Moose and Deer on the other hand,,,,, OH BABY,,, that is good!!

we have lots of those, the AG&F keeps bringing the 'problem bears' out here since they expanded the $1,000,000 condos out in to the woods.

the bad thing is you shoot one of the "problem bears" 50 game wardens and a swat team arrives and the minimum fine is $10,000--

the bears are quite a problem til the hogs run them off !!!

If you kill one, you had better drop the GPS collar in a lake. Otherwise, you will be paying a huge fine and a possible one year in jail.

My wife said if one came on our property she was gonna shoot it. She didn't care about the fine or prison time. She was NOT gonna let a bear kill and eat her.

Can't say as I blame her.

I will miss her and her cooking till she gets out of prison.

Time to keep the garbage can indoors.

If you want to see a bear up in the UP, hang out where there is garbage cans or a garbage dump.

When I was camping up there, a bear stole a persons cooler becasue it had a package of oreas in there. Ripped a nice hole through the side of there kitchen tent. I think they learned what the bear boxes are for that day

Hit them with bear spray. Also might try putting out food with hot peppers.
