No it is true. Marlin, Ruger, Winchester a long time ago packed up and left..
News is all over the boards. Gun friendly states want jobs for their people and are offering incredible tax incentives.
This in not just an anti Nappy thing, though we would like to believe it.
Bankrupt socialist Connecticut is taxing a ton of companies out of the state.
They wanted socialism, they got it.. Now the whole damn state is going broke.

Bring it. The Texas Rangers put Sam Colt on the map, and we'd be happy to have 'em here.

hell yea-- why did they wait so long? they should have left the commies back in the 90s--

all those once military backed arms outfits should move to 2nd supporting southern states or western ones.

firearms are big business --these morons with all their communist BS should not be allowed to PROFIT from the very people and industrys their trying to crush!

Colt Firearms Threatens to Leave Connecticut Over Strict Gun Laws
“As a result Colt, as well as other Connecticut manufacturers such as Mossberg and Stag Arms will see immediate erosion in brand strength and market share as customers migrate to manufacturers in more supportive states. This will have consequences for dozens of Connecticut companies and thousands of workers. Connecticut will have put its firearms manufacturing industry in jeopardy: one that contributes $1.7 billion annually to the state’s economy.”

Marlin, Ruger, Stag arms, so many I forget the names.. Their all packing and leaving to gun friendly states.. Taking billions $$ in tax money and jobs too gun friendly states..

Further making gun manufacturers feel unwelcome in the Nutmeg State, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) recently pulled an offer it had open to induce Bushmaster Firearms to move its headquarters from North Carolina to Stamford..

Now Mossberg is getting ready to pack up and move..
Speculation for now where their moving to. Connecticut is starving for taxes and jobs..
Gun friendly states are bidding with offers for them to move too their states.
Keep up the good work Nappy, your doing great.

They thought unemployment was bad before ,, wait until all the gun companies leave these anti gun states. With all the unemployment that is about to befall certain states. People should start immeadate petitions to impeach and remove all anti-gun officals from public office. These are the people that will and are causing the collaspe of this countrys
economy and moral and decay of its citizans. Our country is split now more than ever than ever thanks to the retoric and lies these greedy morons in public office have spread around and will continue to do so until they are removed from office, The longer they stay in office the the worse the problems will get, and the longer it will take for this country to get back on track. Now would be a great time for a good republican or independant canadate to emerge from the ashes that nappy and drunkie are creating from the bridges that they have burned, to start for 2016 and reunite the citizans of this country before its too late. If we get another democratic administration we are screwed! and We might as well start forming our survuival groups now and not wait until the last minute..Doc

Spot on! That's EXACTLY what is going on.

Actually, "Colt Competition" is moving to Texas soon, according to the original source here:

Firearms Company Relocating To North Texas « CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

Bold Ideas goes by the name Colt Competition, making high accuracy rifles for competition shooting.

    Heck Yeah, Magpul and Colt.

Green Mountain Barrel company should move here also. Ordered some 9mm blanks from them a few months ago and had to pay Illinois state sales tax to get them shipped here to Texas. WTH is that all about. Chicago is a huge sucking parasite that is killing the rest of Illinois and they still have money problems.

If I'm going to pay sales tax it better be to the state of Texas.

Yes Sir guys.. I do not follow politics.. Hell I pay $143 a month for 3 T.V.s only the girlfriend watches.. She is watching T.V. and not bitching at me, I am happy.
hc and Rikoshay.. Quick bit on the news I caught.. Nappy even has his Bros backing off on this gun control stuff. Guess? correct me if wrong. Their elections are coming soon, they are abandoning ship..
Gun and weapons related companies are getting so many offers from gun friendly states to come. Each time we hear of a move, a new offer comes in..
Nappie what have you and your crew done.. You have created a divided country, both from a racial perspective and legal gun owners..
I could go on, but your socialistic Govt. ideas will not work.. Your failing. Failing bad. Please stop, before America is no more. Please..
