    akdude and Tommo, you're absolutely right. But if you carry without a permit, you're going to jail.
    I've carried in places where a permit wasn't an option and I had no choice. But I'm not going to get hung with a disabling felony when there's not a real good reason.
    And I AM going to carry.
    I believe about drivers licenses like we believe about CWP. But I'm not going to drive wiyh no license either.

    When I was in NY the "State issued" permit had no restrictions but Erie Co. put there own restrictions on it against the law. If you bitched about it they would say your hostile and revoke it. Too much BS there, thats why i moved to Georgia.

    Pryotex, here's one for you. In the People's Republik of Jersey. if you want to 'make a point' and apply for a CCW, you can lose ALL your toys. There's a part in their Firearms ID Card law that says if you've EVER been denied ANY firearms permiting, you can't be approved for ANY firearms permitting. And in that hole EVERYTHING IS A "FIREARM", from a BB pistol to a muzzleloader to an M-1.
    So no one even tries out of fear of losing their stuff.
