    Thumbs up 2014 Chick-fil-A calendar

The 2014 Chick-fil-A calendar went on sale this month at Chick-fil-A restaurants. Price is $6. The calendar comes with a card that gives free items each month. Here is a list for 2014: http://www.chick-fil-a.com/Cows/Calendar-OfferPeek
January 1/1/14 - 1/31/14 Medium Bowl of Soup
    February 2/2/14 - 2/28/14 Large Waffle Potato Fries™
March 3/1/14 – 3/31/14 Fan Favorite Classic Entrée (Vote)
April 4/1/14 – 4/30/14 Large Coca-Cola® Soft Drink of Your Choice
May 5/1/14 - 5/31/14 Entrée Salad of Your Choice
    June 6/2/14 - 6/30/14 Mystery Offer Plus A Large Coca-Cola®
    Soft Drink of Your Choice
July 7/1/14 - 7/31/14 Small Handspun Milkshake of Your Choice
August 8/1/14 - 8/30/14 Large Coca-Cola® Soft Drink of Your Choice
September 9/1/14 - 9/30/14 Any Breakfast Entrée Plus A Large Coca-Cola® Soft Drink of Your Choice
October 10/1/14 - 10/31/14 Large Coca-Cola® Soft Drink of Your Choice
    November 11/1/14 - 11/29/14 Mystery Offer
    December 12/1/14 - 12/31/14 Spicy Chicken Sandwich

For the large Coke, one can also get a tea or lemonade instead of a soda. If using the card every month, the calendar pays for itself by February (maybe March at the latest). We did 3 calendars for 2013, but bough 4 for 2014.

They are selling fast (at the local restaurant they had 400 and are down to about 30-40). They're supposed to get more in, but I remember last year (and previous years) that they sold out quick.

I'll be back. I had lunch at one with my Caitlin. She is 17 now. I don't get out since I became disabled from the COPD. Great food and service.

I love me some hate chicken. Any place that libs try to boycott is good in my book.

Frankly, I wish ALL businesses would shut the hell up about politics and religion and just try to do business the best they can. That seems so simple.

It wasn't the business - it was the ceo talking about his beliefs (assuming you are referring to what Dan Cathy said). Truett Cathy (the founder of Chick-fil-A) makes no holds barred about being a Christian (and why should he be ashamed of his beliefs?), Chick-fil-A's have always been closed on Sunday, so that all employees can have a day of rest.

eyegun - you're right, it's not about hate - but about traditional family values. Plus it is about the delicious sandwiches.

As for finding a location, here is a link that can help. http://www.chick-fil-a.com/Locations/Locator

Not specifically about Chick-fil-A's, never seen one, never been to one, don't even know if there are any in Wisconsin. Frankly, when it comes to chicken give me Popeye's, or good old KFC, but that's just me.

I don't care what a business owner's religious beliefs are, not one bit, not in the least. That is their business. If they choose to be closed on Sunday, again, that is their business. I am just as uncaring about liberal or right wing political statements put out by business owners. My guess is that everytime one of them opens their mouth about it they lose customers. They need to understand that they are not immune to backlash by consumers that don't agree with their view point. That too is the American way, vote with your wallet, if you don't like what the business owner says don't give them your money, if you do like what they say you may go out of your way to buy thir products and services.

Despite the fact that some here have labeled me as a Godless, leftist, socialist, communist, and other names I don't recall, I believe in religious freedom. Believe and worship however you see fit as long as your beliefs harm no one else, and when you are politely told "No thank you" if you start to talk religion, you stop, we will get along just fine. My beliefs are mine and I share them with like minded people and never try to convince anyone else my way is the right way or the only way when it comes to religion.

Makes my guts roll to sometimes too! But it tastes good, and then add some mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw and that is a great meal. I wish they would make those corn bread rolls again though, I miss them!
