    yes we are good hard working people.....


    work hard, live hard, look hard & usually help anyone we can.

    BUT there are plenty of the other types around too. being born in WVa & spent my first 5 years on a farm there... you learn: God, respect for elders & work... in that exact order.. there is no deviation if your from "good people"...

    moved across the river to Ohio.. can still see WVa from the top of my hill..

    its a shame but the people they always put on TV are the "other people"........ they lived farther out or up the holler's from us... they make better news than good people.

    I don't even think theyre the other bunch, just shoot a tire on a vehicle for really no good reason, man would do me like that in these mountains and I just caught them something would happen alright, hell even the buzzards need to eat. and im as easy going a person you can find, young boy running around being rude to strangers I mean w.v. has the best all around people in it but maybe these new generation kids are that bad... sure as hell hope not,,,,,, amen.....................

    its really unfortunate that people are that way at all. more & more they are.

    & you already know.. "my kids" are raised RIGHT.... they wouldnt survive their mother or me if they werent.

    I was born in b luefield.the hollow I was raised in was literally filled in for a hospital. Buried a lot of memories there.

    i try not to go down that way anymore... used to drive Beckley & BLuefield every day from Huntington... doing that and working 12 hrs when your there sucked..

    you guys every make it up to H-town?

    desert shield, volunteered to fill a truck driver slot for, I think the254th truck co. up there. way back in 90 while in national guard.

    I came across this show, watched about 10 minutes of it and never thought about it again, tv has very little or nothing on anymore.



    Stalker1 you had to mention liver, I haven't had good liver in a very long time, hell maybe 20 - 25 years. We had a private owned super market and they bought as much as they could locally. Would make the basic liver and onion dinner, after the store closed I haven't found anyone in this area that has good tasting liver and don't even look for it anymore.
