    Default True Detective- HBO series

    WOW
I stumbled on this the other night, we still have HBO because of the package we have for internet ( the wifes work) I don't like what i see on HBO lately but WOW again

    what a great series
I will start out by saying I do not like woody harrelson f*ck lib
and I am not keen on Matthew McCauneghy( mind the spelling)

well they really have sharpened their craft excellent series, so much so I missed the first 4 episodes and sat up the other night watch it on HBO demand

i don;t watch the other junk on there walking dead or true blood or girls or similar stupid crap, like bill maher

this series is up there with "the wire" or "generation kill"
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

It's okay. Saw only the first couple shows so far.

The show I am getting into is "Banshee" about a criminal who takes the identity of a dead Sheriffin Banshee, PA. Has all the stereotypes - Local millionaire bad guy crook, crooked Indians and their casino, Amish, white trailer park "trash" rednecks, neo-nazis, Russian mobsters (out to kill the fake sheriff and mayor's wife who is the daughter of the Russian Godfather), etc. One sick twisted fucked up show - entertaining as hell tho and it grows on ya.

Seems that since AMC (Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, etc.) and FX (Sons of Anarchy) started making some entertaining shows, now the cable premium channels (Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Boss, Black Sails, etc.) and internet sites like Netflix (House of Cards) are all getting in on making shows. Does anyone actually watch network television anymore? Hmmm...

Banshee is a great show, you never know where is going to go, other than wild. As Sugar says "What are you going to do now?" Banshee is intersting because everyone is a twisted in some way. There are no saints in Banhsee.

Strikeback is a pretty good show as well.

Yeah, and for you guys without satellite or cable --- here's where you can watch these shows online. They usually show up the day after they are shown on TV:

Has True Detective, Walking dead, Banshee, etc. --- even a new one I kind of am watching on Syfy now about an arctic medical research facility with an outbreak of some virus (Helix) - like Andromedia Strain on steroids.

    Happy Viewing...

BB I like the Helix program. My wife disappears when it comes on. Not for her.
