    We have planes lost on dry land that are never found. To loose one to the depths of the ocean to never be found should not be startling.

    I'm sure that's why they have gotten so many "pings" scattered about, the thermal planes at those kinda depths can really reak havoc on radio signals or sonar signals, unless it's a hard wired signal. If it is in that area it will be a tough one to find, no doubt.

    would have jsut thought that many bodies would have turned up at least a few by now.....

    That plane didn't crash.
    It was landed somewhere for a future use.
    I personally think it's in Indonesia, another Muzzy stronghold..
