I'm a lefty so I'm no fan of the AK sling attachment points, thus I don't use them.

Sling ON is the way to go for me. Generally I'm carrying a packed man-bag with ammo, tools, med-kit, secondary weapon (K-bar) and other assesories, ..heavy stuff....so it's great to have a hand open for whatever.

    Fight gun crime.... shoot back

Think of me as a lumberjack. Tough....strong....and when I use sharp tools, I get wood.

well i said sling on because i use them
    BUT
when i go to the range i take em off because they seem to catch everything like the wood bench and tangle up in the guncases. but i put them on at home and display them, it ads a nice touch for the right sling for the rright gun.
i like to have em on incase SHTF or i go out on the back feild with it, nice to carry, but that reminds me,,, i need to get a few for my builds.. hmm
Cheap bastard plus ghetto tools=quality AK build

Sling off - 'cause they snag on every little thing going into or out of the safe.

    Shooters------SLING ON
    Collector guns---------SLING OFF,
they don't wear that way and they show just as good.
I keep them rolled up next to the gun.

Sling on - it is easier that way (although I have a few without slings, lol).

I have a couple with the sling on BUT most of them have never had the sling put on. I do not realy have a specific reason to keep the sling off , I just do not seem to do it. I never realy thought about it till this thread LOL

I'm still finding "Sling on" more useful in every outing! If it can free my hands of something then it has MANY uses!!!!
