Default Wood and metal working 101

I would like to get some information on refinishing stocks, barrels, small parts ect. We have a lot of "mechanical" how to but it would be nice to see some ideas that others have on refinishing. Frankly I suck at both so some input would be helpful for me and maybe others. Thanks Jack

A good start is on www.arizonaresponsesystems.com

Go to the notes section and look under surplus rifle wood stock restoration. He has a detailed method for wood finishing there. I've tried it and it works well.

I saw that. He has a variation on the dishwasher technique. I really like the stuff Mark does. His video and book are a must for the FAL builder. Jack
