    Default SIG AMT prototype receiver

I finally got some time to get the first set of prototype receiver parts welded up. Everything fits pretty good on this first set. I am giong to weld up another set and graft it to the receiver stubs to test operation and test fire it. if all goes well I will make the necessary changes to the drawings and have the final parts fabricated.

If any punk kid ever comes up to you asking for your `Gang Sign` Tap your chest twice then your forehead once. After doing that only upon a threat do you draw your glock and show him what you meant.

DSA only has pe-57 kits with no trunnion, amt front ends were available in 308 don't know if they are still available. some lads bought both front end w/ trunnion included and the pe-57 kit

I really like the prototype I am in I want one!!!!!!!!!!.

instead of welding to the cut stubs wouldn't it be easier to drill out the welds on the trunnions and reweld in Place??????????

that would be my vote, make each end a little longer so we can drill spot welds and weld directly in trunion and stock mount.

The stubs are both spot welded in and brazed, they need to be milled out. the receivers are full length. I plan on doing a full lenght build after trying one on the stubs to make sure it works.
