    Want to Buy/Wanted flame if you must, where can I get 80% 1911 receiver for cheap?

    hey guys, I've did googleing and searching and reading the forums... now I need your help. I wanted to know where could I get some cheap but good 1911 80% receivers? I've seen that they said sarco is the way to go.... is there any other places that sells them for about $90 or so? please reply and add some links please so that I could find and order some to get a build going :-D

    Numrich had them 3 months ago for $60

    Try the tannery shop they got all kinds of goodies there
    http://www.tanneryshop.com/80-1911.htm they are the only ones that I know of that sell them. You might hit up one of our admis to (Ptannjr) he had a 1911 build thread a while back I bet he'd hook you up

    Centerfire has got some 100% s for about the same prices as the other guys 80%ers!!Just drop in your other parts!

    Not sure how complete the Sarco castings are. The 100% complete Essex frames they have are premo though.

    I could go for a few 80% frames myself if the price was right. Just another project that I have in my mind.

    I bought 4 of his 1911 80% last year...good products....he's good guy to deal with.
