    Default Pirate Plinker V2.0

I have always wanted a big honking, in your face, hi cap pistol in 7.62x25, after experimenting with several designs from a home made scratch built gun to an ak platformnone really fit the bill for a number of reasons. to complicated, unreliable, clumsy to handleI finally built the ideal gun.

The sterling is well balanced, ergonomic, and cool looking!! it is an easy build using sterling parts, a ppsh or pps43 bbl a trunnion with feed ramp an ar15 flash hider and cheap, readily availabe modified ppsh43 mags.

Originally I was going to make a new mag well to accomodate the mags, however by retaining the standard mag well sten mags can be used to do a 9mm conversion as 9mm ppsh43 barrels are available.

the gun is finished in Dulite, the flash hider holds in the barrel so it can easily be removed. I had to shorten it a couple of inches, but it is stil long enough the maximize the velocity of the round. the usual problem of semi auto guns in this caliber, bolt weight is not a problem. the cases retain theie shape and there is no blow back gasses at the breech, indicating that the bolt is not opening prematurely. I have run about 60 rounds through it so far and it functions flawlessly.

If there is enough interest we will supply kits and possibly do a small run of completed guns.

we are thinking about doing a small run of about 10-15 guns, price with 2 mags and a 2 year warranty would be about $750.00
