Food service supply store. Look for a small deep fryer basket.

I folded mine up out of stainless steel screen, and "sewed" it together with safety wire. The screen is easy to come by here, as all the NASCAR teams use it to cover radiator and brake duct openings.

For real small parts like pins and screws, use a "tea ball infuser", looks like a pair of tongs with a ball on the end, holes in the ball halves.

You might try checking your local hardware store. If that doesn't pan out, check out an anti spatter screen for cooking. I have one that's big enough to fit over the top of a large skillet. It's a little over 13" across. You could make a basket from one of those.

you might also try a large stainless kitchen strainer....with a little mods to it...
