    Default Broke my Milling Vise

And so now I need a new one! What do some of you guys use on yours? I had an el-cheapo drill press vise and it worked surprisingly well (until I broke it).

There are a few "real" milling vises but I'm not sure what I want to invest into. Recommendations?

    Jerry -- I got a 80# one for $5 on ebay.

I use a spark plug wrench as a handle but it works!!

I had the same type of vise as grasshopper. It broke also. These are not made for heavy duty clamping. I am kooking for a higher quality vise in the future.

I bought a 6" from Enco, when on sale. Jaws are just over 2" deep. I did pull the swivel off & bolted it directly to the table. Solid as a rock.

It looks a little big for that table, but I can hog if necessary!

Wildman that looks like one of the ones I was considering, however I was thinking about one with a rotating base. This is going to be an expensive proposition I'm afraid.
