Default Rip Fence for the AK

    Rip Fence for the AK

I got tried of aligning the vise every time I milled a receiver.
The table became crowded when trying to do other milling operations.
The following was the solution to that delima.
The table is now open for other work. The fence stays in alignment and is held by 5 -5/16 X ? bolts
The face of the fence was milled in place and will remain parallel with the table.

    Hi Gunny,
That looks like a good idea. Nice pictures. How many passes does it take to mill each rail?

One pass for rails, then cut reliefs for trunions, carrier and bolt access for assembly.
That receiver cut was just a test to make sure there was no tool chatter.
As the pictures show there is none.
