    I think another thing on the + side is less oily smoke fumes to inhale while welding.

    I've used bees wax for years, Gramps taught me that one, and it's great for casting bullets, smells nice too!! As for lighting the smoke on fire,,,,, hope you're doing it out side, it can flare up pretty good, and sure will put a good coating on a inside wall after a bit,,,, you'll never be able to paint over,,,especially with bees wax. Try it for casting guys, as good or better than rosin, safer and not toxic too.

    Just be ready for pancakes after, that bees wax smell gets to ya!!

    Another thing about drilling aluminum, is that for small holes it is pretty difficult to turn the drill too fast. I have a 6000 rpm Sioux air drill that I use for #30 and #40 rivet holes in aluminum, and it is just about right.
