I would think you could use the stuff you find at Home Depot or the auto parts store. The stuff that comes in the double syringe that mixes as you push it out. I have used that on a lot of different plastics.

I never thought of using that with my dremmel! thats a great idea sang. I use that attachment for lots of other uses like cutting out holes in the wall and grout but never for receivers. Your so smart.

Oh that's what that is for! Wondered about that. Good idea!

To make that round hole, I'd use either a hole saw (duh) with a 2" attachment, or a boring tool... the kind that looks like a trident, with a drill bit in the middle, and two lathe-style cutters on both sides, equidistant to the middle. Forget their technical name, but can be found at HF for $12.

My Dad used a sabre saw to make the plexi disc, it is not a perfect circle. He glued it with MEK.

LOL... "The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree".....Huh?
Whenever I have a problem with a build that's who I always turn to, besides "Gunco" of course.
To bad it's not fathers day.....This would be a great thread.
    Great insight Sang!!
I'm thinking about barrowing his Roto-Zip to repair some sheetrock.
There's something wrong with the "trunions" in my walls....J/K!

Apply a little to the plastic, push the pieces together, hold until they set up...

Don't forget to do this with PLENTY of ventilation.
