    I got a headache from reading pages of guys arguing the advantages & disavantages of the various CAD/CAM programs.

    Practicalmachinist.com is oriented more towards professional machinists. Some of the guys there are umm, snobby, while others are pretty decent. Lots of good info there, but a few buttholes too.

    I spent a lot more time on www.metalillness.com and www.homeshopmachinist.com than the PM site(and I am a machinist by trade). The folks there were lots easier to get along with.
