    Talking New toy...

My christmas present came in earlier this week. All of PBB's threads showing off his cool toys have conviced me to take the plunge and learn CNC. Since I've already got a Bridgeport, I wanted something bigger than a converted mini-mill, yet not so big I'd have to mortgage my house to pay for it. I concidered going the conversion route, but for the time being I'd just as soon keep the Bridgeport as is for those one off jobs where's it's easier/faster to put the part in the vise and mill it by hand.

I've still got to round up a few things before I can start making chips with it, but one of the things I like about Tormach's business setup is you can buy the extras as you go along to spread out the cost.

Looking forward to an interesting year...

    Nifty....
Hmmmm..instantly repeatable CNC programs of custom prototypes, smells like a 'group buy' part maker to me.

Freedom is not free. Some will perish to preserve it for the many. Just as our Forefathers did before us, we must take up the battle and not waver. Victory is our only option.
