I made my first real part today with my bridgeport!! I had a great time and ended up with a very functional tool!! that I made was a tool to hold the trunion when the barrel is pressed into it. it is stepped to support the back of the trunion rite behind the ramp, and in front rite in front of the hole. the new tool holds the trunion square to the block on the press. I made this tool because every time in the past I have had to press in the barrel holding the trunion a bit off center so I had to be extreamly carefull getting it started just rite. now with the new tool the trunion will be held just rite for the barrel to go straight in. NO flexing anymore is good news!

I just added a quick profile drawing. it is an excell file the tool is made of 3/8"thick material on a 1" wide base
I put in most of the measurements now so it is easy to copy if anyone wants.
a small clamp on the back end will easy hold the tool onto the press block .
