Fuzzbean over at homegunsmith.com built these:
on a HF mini mill.
OMG !---Why did you have to show that stuff, I'm still working up to my first AK build and now another "must learn how project".
Those look incredible.
Simple, to show what's possible on a HF mini mill.
Besides the Peashooter build thread, 'Bean has one on the Mini Mill itself that's most definately worth the read.
Thanks for the link Tailgunner, there is certainly a lot of good interesting info. there.
ah now thats just not right!!!
its bad enough that i dont have the mill.... but hell even with a bridgeport i couldnt build one of those guns.
thanks for rubbing that in. im gonna cry now.
Well it's not like you'd get a whole lot of use out of a five pound, single shot, open bolt, .22 short target pistol with a 15 pound trigger pull.
The Jaco single shot pistol designs are quite popular with the builders over there, and require little more than a drill press, a hacksaw, and a file. Anybody who's capable of building an AK can certainly build one of them.
it still looks very F'n cool. id love to build one of those.
