    Default AIM wood sets ??

Actually bought a few a while back, for the money I honestly can say you cannot beat the $25.00 Price tag-- But however you will need to do a little file fitting and a good deal of finish sanding-- All in all easier than stripping and refinishing old military wood. The only problem is difference in the metal that you attach it too. If I needed more I would buy it again; but make sure you have the metal pieces because at times the metal is hard to find in decent condition. I made sure that all of my edges were tapered to the metal( to prevent chips and splits later) and also a lot of dark stain and a good oil finish to seal the wood. If i could I would send a picture; looks almost like dark hungarian original wood--

Can I use standard AKM metal parts on this set from a Romy AKM?
