    Default WTB Romanian ak kit

What can I expect to pay for a romanian ak kit today?
I see some advertised for $150 and some as high as $400. Help a new guy out please.
Don't wanna get raped and would love to build an ak soon
    Thanks

i just bought a like new kit for $300, hasn't arrived yet so i haven't inspected it. should be good... $300 seems to be about the norm right now. BTW welcome to gunco!

if you see any decent ones for under $250, i would buy them up! the way things are headed right now, in a few months they could be worth much more.

I would suspect that any kit going for $150 today, would have a cut barrel.

I just sold a Romy G kit on gunbroker for $350. But, it was a really nice all matching, unissued kit that I already de-milled. I have a few left, but I'm not sure I want to sell any more.
I had also listed a brand new Bulgy 74 kit with NIB US furniture, Bulgy bayo and 30 round Bulgy mag (all black, all new) but it didn't get a nibble. Since I've already bent an AKbuilder 74 flat for it, I really don't want to sell it anyway, so I set the starting bid fairly high at $550.

I think this Oboma scare is a tactic. I don't feel that anything will ever come about it, just higher gun parts.
I have since found out that those $150 to $250 kits are extinct, lack of updating on web pages I was looking at, in fact they have beeen sold for months.
I don't know a lot about military weapons but intend on learning about them. I figure building them will help me, along with talking with you all.

Then you don't remember the last 10 year gun ban... the next one they are aiming to make permanent. The last ban had lots of holes, I would not expect the next one to have the same holes.

you may be right, I may be blind but who knows. I think Oboma has a tough road ahead of him if he is going to ban assault weapons. No offense to any Oboma supporters, ok who cares if I offend those people, WHAT WAS those Americans thinking who voted for him

G kits were for their national guard and some may not have threaded barrels (at least that was what I was told.) Non-G kits were for non-reserve units. Double edged sword, G kits may not have seen much service... and in many cases are brand new and never fired.

For the most part they are much like any other AK.
