Why are they blind pinned???? and why are they already intalled ? Its a good price but Id rather not have the brake instaled for use in pistol builds.

I don't know why they are blind pinned but a muzzle extension would be an extra 30 to 40 purchased seperate.

Shame the "AK forum" is sooooo picky about from what ISP they will allow registrants....for some silly reason yahoo.com isn't good enough for them~
...it's ok to be early, on time on target~

Someone was saying that these blind pinned and welded muzzle brakes were to get around the barrel ban... which makes sense. If they don't have the ability to have "non-sporting" features, then they must be sporting barrels. Right.

This could be an interesting development for us who want kits with foreign barrels.

They will accept a netzero account and you can get the free version if you want.
Worked for me. Then later I changed my email addy to my yahoo addy and they ok'ed it.
Sometimes you have to find a work-around.

The muzzle break makes it a legal length 16" barrel. It saves having to register it as a SBR or building it as a pistol.
TGI has the kits for AKF members and I have had no problems dealing with them - nice clean kit and fast shipping.
