Red face My First Custom Built AR

This rifle was designed to obtain the best possible accuracy with Military SS-109 Ammunition and Military Match Ammunition.

    Les Bear Precision Upper Receiver.
    DPMS MilSpec Lower Receiver.
KAC Match 2-Stage sdj. Trigger (SR-25).
Daniel Defense Free Floating Picatinny Tactical Rail System.
    Harris Swivel Bi-Pod.
    Leupold 1" Scope Rings.
Simmons 4.5x14 40mm 1 inch tube Rifle Scope.

All Rifles Come with a test target with the S/N of the rifle.

Now the question is will it do a 1/2 min or better? Tony tells me it should do a 1/4" with the proper hand loads. He was part of Knights SR25 project so it seems possible. Rifle arrives next week followed by some range time!

It took me years to get involved with ARs, I was always involved with Garands, Mausers, and hung out with WWII vets (starting with my dad), who thought anything under .30 cal was okay for practice, but wasn't a RIFLE. Well, I've built two AR-15s, and I'm hooked!

I'll see what comes out of the box! Takes me a while to develop a custom load. If any of you have suggestions for a match load please post!

One of the differeces in this Rifle is having many componet sets on hand. Numerous different combinations are used for best possible fit. Prior to final fitting one of the tricks developed for SR25. Even though all parts are the same there are still some variation. Interesting concept and not practical for us one off builders.
In practice if this is properly done you end up with something like the old Winchester One in a 1,000 program. Though todays tolarances are many times finer than was practical a 100 years ago.
