    Default Stocks for SVT 40

In about 6 weeks I hope to be making some new stocks for the SVT 40/Tokarev Mod 1940. Any of you that need a new stock for a Tokarev rifle, let me know and I will compile list of people who are interested. Thanks.

Default These will need a lot of fitting

I only have one SVT-40, but I bought a lot of parts at about the same time, and my observation has been that they seem to be the product of cottage industry, and there seems to be little standardization of dimensions. You might want to take measurements from a couple before making these.

I love shooting the Tokarev, but 've always babied the wood on mine. I always shoot non-corrosive ammo to reduce to a minimum the disassembly I have to do. The stock is incredibly tight on mine (a Finn capture and refurbish), another reason to not disassemble.
