    Love those enfields. Hornady makes a good 174 grain bullet if you're going to deer hunt with it.

    Take a look at www.jfpo.org

    They have a write up on converting Enfields to 7.62x54R. I have don it twice, and it is a nice conversion. This was when that cal. ammo was dirt cheap. It sure did tighten up the groups a lot. was 2.5 MOA before, and sub MOA after using 147Grain Czech at 100 yards.

    Yup, Ive got my parkerizing down pat, I think it looks good,Im using a homebrew park solution which I have just about got tweeked out, I didnt even use the Black Oxide post dip on this rifle. Im gonna try yo do a grey/green soon, well when ever i get a M1 garand.

    Never heard of the 7.62 rimmed conversion, was looking at the .303 Ebbs improved for mine. Love your Enfield!
