Default Hey to Battle Rifle People

Hey, folks, just stopping in to say "hey" to the battle rifle crowd.

I'm a huge fan of the Garand and own seven of them, four of which are Collector Grades, one is a Service Grade HRA, another a Service Grade Springer and one is a WWII Garand, with WWII receiver, and barrel. I had it refinished/restored by DGR.

    Cool. Welcome aboard Amsdorf.
    Enforcement, NOT Amnesty!!!!!!

"If they’re going to come here illegally, apply for & receive assistance through a corrupted Government agency encouraging this lawless behavior, work under the table & send billions of dollars each year back to their families in Mexico, while bleeding local economies dry, protest in our streets waving their Mexican flags DEMANDING rights, while I have to press ’1′ for English, then they need to be shipped back to where they came from!" -Chad Miller

Sounds great. I used to buy Garands in the late 1980's at Woolworths. They were pretty rough and I would rebuild them. I built some in 308 and some in 30-06. I hand loaded for them but at the time I only used a limited range of powders and loads that were recommended for them. I left the country for a few years and I sold them before I left. After returning I bought a couple more and worked up some good loads with powders I hadn't used before.

Yup, The Garand is a real classic. In good condition, they shoot really well. I have one now, I have owned many. I will always have one to take out and shoot on June 6th.

Welcome to Gunco! Now, Post up some PICS! I want to drool a bit.

    Regards,
