I can't stop laughing right now.
"What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?" -Thomas Jefferson-

"Our rights come from our humanity and may not be legislated away -- not by a vote of Congress, not by the consensus of our neighbors, not even by agreement of all Americans but one." Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

I know of one range in Kansas that won't allow High-Points on the firing line.

I,m thinking about a EAA SAR B6 9mm with 4.5" barrel and 16 round magazines for the future. My 1911s are getting harder to shoot.

They are good pistols.sold mine to do my only custom smith built 1911from chestnut mountain sports which I did most of the work except the Novak sights finish and frame fit. Karl Sokol is great! And a gentleman from my experience.

The story that the range manager told us was that the gun was new and when the guy fired it, the slide flew off in 2 pieces. I do know people who own Hi-Points and really like them. I shot one once and it worked fine but I didn't care for the feel of it. I guess they would be fine for home defense but I wouldn't want to take one to the range on a regular basis.JMHO
