Question Critical Yugo M76 and M77 questions

Do these models have the 2 lug bolt as has been suggested?

Any pics or links would be much appreciated.

The bolt looks just like your run of the mill AK bolt but is longer. Actually, an Ak one will drop right in the carrier. I'll try and post some photos if I can figure out how.

That is what I thought. I certainly would like to see up close pics too.

    Thanks!

FWIW, I just dug this info up that sent me:

"Templar told me that the yugo 8mm only had the two lugs the same size as the 7.62"

so I think it will hold up to the .308.

Those pics will be very helpful!

The first 2 pics Ken e-mailed me. It has been discussed before, but I do believe the Yugo kits with the bulged trunion will work fine for a .308 conversion.

These are pics Rhino took of his Saiga .308 bolt and a regular 7.62X39 bolt

I'm sure this has already been thought of, but couldn't you use a Yugo barrel and re chamber it in .308 with a chamber reamer?

Do I see right that the Yugo bolts are longer than the standard AKMs? Is the receiver longer and FCG position different? This woulddefinitely explain how they do them up to 308.

Does anyone still have the 'bolt comparison' pics? They no longer show up on this thread.

Arriving a little late here, but these .308 conversion threads still hold alot of interest

    Thanks
