    Default aluminum bullets

I was looking at some loading info for Vihta Vuori powders and came accross something interesting.

For the 7.62/39 and 303 Brit they have load data for a 57grain aluminum bullet.

The max load gives 3233 fps for the AK and 3865 fps for the .303

it does give a disclaimer on the .303 load that anything over 3300 fps may lead to severe fouling

going to drop velocity real quick, but its also going to have low recoil.

Were they copper plated like regular bullets? Or just straight alluminum?

Wonder if that is data for the Mark VII .303 British round.

    Here's a wiki on the .303 British:

If this ammo is the stuff I believe it is, then that would be the first rifle ammo I have ever shot from a SMLE back in Canada.
