Now if I do make one in 6.5 Grendel or 6mm PPC or some other "match grade" caliber

A 6.5 grendal would be an awsom build. there was rummors of wolf selling the ammo but I have yet to see any. 6mm ppc would be pretty pricy to to shoot very much although I have consderd building a target version of my 223 in 6mm PPC. unless you resize 7.62 brass (not as accurate as true 66mm PPC) it is going to run around 60 cents a caseing or more, for the 220 russan or formed 6mm ppc. Has any one got info on the Wolf 6.5 grendal stuff??
a 6.8 spc would be another one that would be good in a bull pup and there is brass avaliable . I think the 6.8 would be better in a bullpup as the short barrel it going to take away much of the advantage of the superior range of the 6.5 grendal IMOA.
I think once you clean up the welds and smooth it all out it will look fine as is. again nice work. Hows the trigger action??

    $0.50 a round?!?!? That's outrageous!

What's happened to the world when 6.5 Grendel and .308 are the same price?

Matt and Jerry, did you guys get one of the Grendels running?

I have not. My house move kinda put it on the back burner, although I still have aspirations to add yet another caliber to my inventory I'm moving right along with my 9x39 clone and so that's taken more time than anything lately. I'm making a new reamer for it

The magazine was the biggest 6.5 problem, IIRC. That, and the reamers. Frankly I think the 6.5x39 that's already been out there in Wildcat Country would be "good enough" for me.

My children laugh as they call me a budding Mexican revolution whenever there's a new caliber added to the household.

The latest is a 32 S&W long -- a worthless but expensive round moving at about 800 fps but the old wheel gun is pretty.

On topic: the heavy L1A1 gas blocks are nearly slip ons for the Yugo barrels. And not being chromed, they rechamber easily.
