    Default Reloading Die Blanks

I just realized the die blanks at Midway have changed status to "special order 30+ days" since last I looked at them. Should have bought them when I had a chance!

OK, so now who has them *available* and ready to ship? I am taking off next week and actually hoped to ream the 9x39 die... looks like that won't be happening now...

    Huntington's has them. http://www.huntingtons.com/specialtymerchandise.html

Your local truck stop might also.

The 7/8x14 size came from adapting semi-tractor/trailer wheel studs quite some years back. Buy some steel studs and whittle away!

(Edit)Wheel studs will probably need annealing before tooling.

    Thanks for that link!

After hunting around, I think I am going a different direction. I may be able to use my existing 35 remington die, or my existing 7.62x39 die, which will give me the advantage that the bullet seater is already attached. I think. I've got to look at the .35 Rem to see if it has enough to ream out, otherwise I'll sacrifice my 7.62x39 die. Obviously I'll need to drill out the pilot hole a small amount, but that is an easy enough task.

If this works, that is. I'm going to take my sweet time with the reamers
