Default Death Wish 3 - .475 Wildey Magun

Wouldn't this be interesting to chamber into an AK action?

Can anyone find a good diagram of the cartridge? It looks like a straight-wall case, but I can't seem to find a diagram anywhere...

The 475 Wildey is based on the 284 Winchester cartridge cut off to 1.395 inches then neck reamed to handle the 475 bullets. The cartridge is the same length as the 45 Winchester Magnum, however, of greater diameter. Case forming dies for this cartridge are available from both RCBS and Wildey Incorporated. Bullets for the 475 Wildey Magnum are available from Barnes bullets in American Fork, Utah.

That would be badass in a pistol build like Slamfires51 does! You could even pimp it out with a polished nickel or chrome finish.

Q: "What the hell is that?"
A: "Why that's my .475 Wildey Magnum....(cough, cough, muffled voice) AK."

Jerry, you always forget ammoguide.com for some reason...

    AmmoGuide is now... "Interactive"!

Yeah Rhino I do keep forgetting to check that site. I looked around and darned if I can find *any* barrel blank in that diameter. Probably a lost cause. I'd like to see how it performs vs. a .50 AE or something like that. The stuff on their site indicates its "better" than 50AE at range. Probably more like a .50 Beowulf or the other .50 - .499 rounds.
