    im curious the more i read about this, but how heavy does the bolt have to be to reliably cycle the weapon? if i were to shorten the receiver by two inches on the front, use a custom trunion, and shorten the dust cover, how long would the bolt have to be? could some of the meat be removed from the rear of the bolt head and carrier as well? the idea i have is to shorten the action as much as is safely possible and still cycle reliably.
