Default Swedish K M45 build ideas?

Has anybody attempted to build the M45 in a semi-auto version yet? I have a kit and was also wondering if the pins in the lower channel have to be punched out or are they rivets and need to be drilled out?

I did a search on the forum and coudn't find ANY info??

    thanks,
    Ron

Don't know many people around here that have built one at all.

This sight has a whole history of the Swedish K - You will have to look for it thought, Theres a sight that makes semi"s Prixes ( I know I spelled it wrong ) They do several
types of semi's - Try a google search on semi -auto Sten

It's Prexis and he mainly makes 80% semi receivers and some semi bolts, he doesn't make any firearms.
    Prexis/Sten Sten, Beretta 38A, Suomi M31, VZ58, Receivers, Barrels Semi-auto parts

I'd check Weaponeer.net , that's most likely the best place for info.

Philly Ord makes the receivers too, pricier than Prexis but they also look to be a bit more completed in regards to the lower housing. They produce good 80% receivers.

Swedish K/Carl Gustav M45 Submachine Gun

BTW, I believe the pins in the lower have the ends peened to retain them. While they are "riveted", you should be able to punch them out with the proper punch and a good backup block.

yes we have started on these (several of us) and the thread is over at weaponsguild.com... but all the FCG and such has not been worked out yet, we are all still tossing ideas around looking for the best, most reliable and cheapest ways to do these as the kits were priey and we want NO mistakes or reworks.
