    Question MAC Conversion Issues! Help!

I have been trying to convert an M10/45 SMG to 9MM. I have the correct upper, bolt, etc. I have a Cobray mag well insert that seems to fit. When I try to use M10 mags, the weapon will feed a round but will not consistantly fire the round. I think the bolt is losing a little momentum when coming foreward. I have take a little off the mag catch and it is not getting any better. Any ideas?

for those that care, this is an NFA weapon.

Wildman43 knows more about these than anyone else who comes to mind.

    Try a pm to him.

I have been working with Wildman43 on this weapon and eventually threw in the hat. It is quite difficult and expensive to find the correct 9mm magazines. I think I'm probably better off buying an UZI and keeping the M10 in .45 ACP.

    Thanks for the advice!

I thought I read somewhere that someone I think Cobray was converting sten 9mm mags to work with the MAC. Of course that might be only for the 9mm frame. Not sure.
