So what receiver are you going to use? I have looked at coldsteel and it looks interesting but they apparently require a blocking bar. I don't know how those work. They also offer a trunion. This looks like an interesting semi build if I can get access to the tooling.

And these kits are showing up more now. Anyone got a suggested best place to get one?

I bought mine from centerfire for $49
for a rec repair section I am waiting on mike(prexis-sten), he posed he was working on the project a few weeks ago, hopefully it wont be long as my trig group and bolt have been done. I would build a die and puch a repair section out but I only need one

For a FA bolt block in the rec I am going to weld 1/4" diam hard pin thru the top of the rec that lines up with the slot I machined in the top of my bolt

Did you ever find the trunnion blueprint? The ones I see pre-made look like a simple cylinder, but looking at the parts kit it looks like the "hinge" for the upper and lower is part of the trunnion.

If you look at the pic of the ready made ones there is a rectangular key on the cylindrical trunion that fits in the sheetmetal shoe in the pic which is the hinge point

I'd like to look at the blueprint also. This should be added to the Firearm Library along with any other blueprints, schematics, templates that other members have and are willing to share. It's amazing what can be accomplished with a set of measurements at hand.

    Hi,
    Great project.
I have a problem. I have dummy PPS43 and like this SMG very much.
Head of its bolt is destroyed. Can you give a picture of the header.
Dimesions would be great. Also picture of ejector and firing pin
