Heh, you in the auto industry? Thanks for posting your build, be sure to tell us how it does once you get to test fire it!

coils, vht wrinkle paint. 486, here's some vids.
went out and tested my fixes. sellier & bellot. still didn't cycle bolt very reliably except w/ a very sturdy hold. if it wasn't rigid, it wouldn't cycle.

next up was the dreaded 53 ammo. still had a lot of pips and pops but it cycled every round.

    then the polish 75.

then the unexpected, (to those who are new to my builds ), happened. the last round of polish was the last round for the fp. when i hardened the tip, i didn't do it all. DOH, DOH, AND DOUBLE DOH! the rear piece, behind the slot that the retainer pin rides in, snapped, ending any further trials. when i drilled the retaining pin hole, it was off, so i made the slot a little deeper, to deep it seems. will post pics soon.

yep, just turn a new one....and harden it fully and correctly....lol. the main thing is it functions perfectly w/milsurp ammo. hoping it will break in after awile so it will fire the s&b ammo. not really important w/ price of milsurp right now.

most if not all of the mil surp stuff is submachine gun ammo it is hoter than the S&B so it wil work better in a gun that is basically a smg converted to semi auto.

yeah, p56. that's why i'm not to worried about the yugo 53 ammo. as long as there are no throat cracks in it goes bang i figured the gun would hold it.

After running a few hundred rounds through it might run the S&B, it didn't seem like it had much trouble with it from your video.

I've been playing with around with a VZ-52 FCG, and can see where a hotter round would be more beneficial...that's one stiff hammer spring!

that is one reason i used it, especially for the hotter ammo. it works great.
