Default someone has got to grab this one

This is the third time he's had this one up with no bids. The price is ridiculously low and with the converted bolt and 3 rare mags its a steal. If I hadnt just dumped a bunch of money on another toy I grab it.

Chip -- since there's no one here with a financial interest, I'll share my view.

Anything with work partly done, especially by a local smith, is suspect. I understand that on occasion value is added however, all too frequently, the unmodified kit is a known quantity and a better deal.

Tommers' skill is pretty much legendary, amongst the subgun building crowd.
    Money is tight these days.

Not any more. Typical one mag kits are selling for $250 these days. Mags usually sell for $50 to $65 if you can find one. The jewel in that kit is the bolt though. Tommers bolts were just $130 or so for the conversion when he was building them and those bolts are stupid hard and no fun to work on.
